Railroad Passenger System Network

Ok, Here it goes, This is my first Blogging effort. Most of us Ohioan , Who travel by train have to bitterly drive a country mile to get to the nearest Amtrak Station. Personally, with the cost of gasoline going into the stratosphere we can't continue to ignore the fact that we need to investigate the possibility and develop other sources of energy as well as invest in redeveloping our railroad transportation system; including our passenger rail network.

It's a real shame that we were so short sighted in neglecting our railroad network; while spending trillions on highways and airports. The fact of the matter is that we to utilize all of our transportation systems as we continue into the 21st century. Amtrak has been under-funded almost from it's inception.
